John Kidd, Jr.

KIDD, Jr., John R., age 62, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father, John R. Kidd. John is survived by his wife of 15 years, Peggy Kidd; daughter, Jama Wood; mother, Elizabeth Kidd; grandchildren, Tyler and Wyatt Wood; brother, David Layton, as well as many nieces and nephews. John was a devoted Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Reds fan, and also loved Kentucky basketball. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge 73 and VFW Post 8312. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek.
