John K. Ryan
John K. Ryan, age 90, of Kettering, passed away, Thursday, December 9, 2010, peacefully at his home.
He was preceded in death by his sons, John H. Ryan and Gerald Lee Ryan; and sister, Martha McDermott.
John is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce Ryan; daughters, Kathleen (Robert) Bledsoe and Susan (Tim) Ryan; daughter-in-law, Christine Ryan; grandchildren, John Gregory (Crystal) Ryan, Sean Ryan, Timothy Ryan, Bryan (Gina) Bledsoe, and Brenna (Robbie) Crowe; great-grandchildren, Xavier Ryan, McKenna and Luke Bledsoe, Shelby, Jenna, and Trinity Crowe; brother, Richard (Joyce) Ryan; and many other relatives and friends.
John was a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 500. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy, on board the USS Sims.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 12:00 pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish (3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, OH 45429). Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
