John Josephlee Culp

John Joseph Lee Culp, of Springfield, OH passed away Saturday May 16, 2015 in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 11, 1944 in Springfield, OH. He retired from International Harvester after 30 years, after retirement he opened his own business, Culp's Interstate Tire. He was an active member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Woodstock, OH as well as a drummer in his church band "Enabling Grace" and a member of the Masonic Mason Lodge #122 in Moscow, OH. He is survived by his current wife Sally of two years; two daughters, Mary Jerree (Michael) Shaw of Ohio, Bobbie Jo Lewis of West Virginia; two sons, John Joseph Lee Culp of West Virginia, and Ronald Daniel Culp of Ohio; ten grandchildren, Jeffrey, Christopher, Ashley, Justin, Jacy, Samantha, Matthew, Harlie, Abigail, and Sydenee; three great grandchildren, Joston, Josslyn, and Tanner; one brother James Paul (Vicki) Culp of Ohio, three sisters, Patricia Ann (Leonard) Cordell, Rebecca Sue Wiant, and Helen (Jim) Howard all of Ohio; a sister-in-law Paula Campbell of Fairfield, OH; and four stepchildren Sarah, Carla, Shelia, and Mark all of Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Pauline (Rhyan) Culp, sister Sandra Kay Hayes, and his wife Judith Lynn (Campbell) Culp. Services will be held at the Freewill Baptist Church, 332 W. Bennett St, Woodstock, OH 43084 on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm. www.NewcomerDayton.com
