John J. "Jack" Schwieterman, age 75, of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Jack was born on December 5, 1938 in Frenchtown, OH to the late William F. & M. Luella Schwieterman.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan. Jack served in the U.S. Navy C.B.'s. He was co-owner of Ultra Punch of Dayton and owner of Schwieterman's Grinding.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dottie Schwieterman; children, Liz (Brian) Whitley, Peggy (Joe) Alvarado, John (Debi) Schwieterman and Mary (Mike) Coburn; grandchildren, T.J. (Ashlee), Sarah, Jonathan and Lauren Whitley, Nicole and Amanda Alvarado, Jessica, Trey and Makenzie Schwieterman, Chad, Brett and Nic Coburn; great-grandsons, Lucas Alvarado and Grayson Whitley; siblings, Gail (Tom) Tauscher, Bill (Judy) Schwieterman, Bob (Sharon) Schwieterman, Janet (Mark) Will and Jim (Rita)Schwieterman; and many nieces; nephews; extended relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 17th from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 10am at Epiphany Lutheran Church (6430 Far Hills Ave). Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
