John Herbst

HERBST, John, age 63, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007. John is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Sandra; children, Kerry (Brent) Schmidlapp, Dan (Cheryl) Zehr, Tami Young, and Kymberlee Sorpman; 7 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; siblings, Richard, Theodore, Robert, and Jerry Herbst, Yvonne Loewer, and Sharron Dillon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post 99 in Vandalia, OH. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service. John's final resting place will be Dayton National Cemetery.
