John William Hartzell, age 86 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Beavercreek Health & Rehab. He was born September 30, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Howard and Ruth Hartzell.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force stationed in Japan. He worked as a manger for Elder Beermans for many years. He spent a number of years in Florida caring for his parents. He also lived in Memphis, TN for 10 years with his family.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his sister, Patricia (Keith) Niswonger and many other loving friends and family members.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in John's honor.
A graveside service will be held Thursday December 31, 2020 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am.
