John Phillip Harrison Jr.

John Phillip Harrison Jr. "Buggs", age 72 of Xenia, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to John and Barbara Harrison.
Buggs served his country in the United States Navy. He attended the University of Michigan and obtained his Associates degree from Wilmington College. He was a very talented musician and vocalist and played with many groups around the area. Buggs lived his life to the fullest.
John is survived by his mother; daughters, Risi (Mark Ferguson) Cummins , Mia Davis & Rion (Robert Moore) Jewett; grandsons, Keliah Keith, Jerriah Davis & Kion Jewett; sister, Rhonda Harrison; closest friend, William "Shot" Wilson; close friend, Myron Wallace; and numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Father; and brother from another mother, Michael Price.
A memorial barbecue will be held in Buggs' honor on June 6, 2020 at 451 East Third Street, Xenia, Ohio at 5 pm.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Islamic Community Center of Xenia at 299 E. Market Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Yasin Family and the Local Islamic Community.
