John Howard Halldorson, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. He was born on November 12, 1939 in Long Pine, NE to the late Mary Jane and Arbec S. Halldorson.
John was a Systems Analyst for 19 years at Ponderosa Headquarters and was an IT Contractor for the rest of his career. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening when he was able. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Sue Halldorson; his children, John H. (Michelle)Halldorson II and Susan R. (Jason) Bruno; his grandchildren, Amanda A. (Justin) Marquardt, Robert A. (Kara) Hale, Cera J. (Lwanga Laka) Hale, Kyle J. Bruno and Alexis F. Bruno; his great-grandchildren, Alex, Waylon, Logan, Lucas, Dareon and Naomi. He is also survived by his siblings, Joyce Brownfield and Arbec S. Halldorson Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family at a later date.
