John H. Johnson

John H. Johnson, age 84 of Riverside, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. He was born September 20, 1929 in Salyersville, KY to the late Nathan and Binnie (Wages) Johnson. John is preceded in death by his siblings, Hagar, Laurie, Clyde, Ruth, Gladys, Paul and Marie.
He is survived by his 3 children, Marlene (Ed) Joyce, Teresa (Dan) Hensley and Gary (Joy) Johnson; 7 grandchildren, Adam, Brian and Zach Joyce, Keith and Renee Hensley, Kyle and Erica Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren, Abby and Ryan Hensley, Lily and Mya Joyce and brother-in-law, Arnold Cochran.
John served in the Army during the Korean War, and retired from Delco. He loved to hunt and fish.
Special thanks to the girls in the Memory Care Unit at Emeritus at Fox Run, especially Kyla, Misty and Amanda.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in John's memory.
