John A. Gretzinger Jr.

Gretzinger, John A. Jr, age 60 of Troy, passed away December 10, 2016. He was born on December 30, 1955 Bossier City, LA to the late John and Joyce Gretzinger. John was a retired respiratory therapist. He worked at Good Sam Hospital, St. Elizabeth, Bowling Green (KY), and retired at Good Sam. John enjoyed the sunshine, fishing, golfing, all sports, and his dogs. More than anything he loved his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Tammy; Children Holly (Charlie) Simmons, Taylor Stookey, and Madison Stookey; grandchildren Blake and Shane Simmons; Sister Karen (Robert) Egnor, of Melbourne, FL; Brother William (Donna) Gretzinger, of Huber Heights, OH; Nieces and Nephews Staci Green, Alyssa Henderson, Emma Henderson, RJ Egnor, Sean Gretzinger, and Joshua Gretzinger; father and mother-in-law Gary and Vicky Henderson; brother and sister-in-law Travis and Heather Henderson; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on December 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, starting at 1pm until time of service starting at 3pm. Donations can be made to the Hospice of Miami County.
