John Howard Gordon Sr., age 67 of Dayton, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019. He was born December 8, 1951 in Cookeville, Tennessee, the son of the late Fred Gordon and Mary Sliger.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Anna Pearl Gordon.
John is survived by his children, John H. Gordon Jr., Leslie (Tony) Foreman, Lisa (Eric) Dulski, Thomas Gordon, Heather (Steven) Belvin, Tracy Schenkel, Mary Gordon; grandchildren, Sarah (Travis) McClester, Tyler and Mason Massengale, Cole and Lillian Foreman, Luke, Carson and Carter Dulski, Bailey Gordon, Cali Glasener, Isabella and David Belvin; 2 great grandchildren, Ayden and Elena McClester; brother, Thomas Gordon; sister; Mary Alene Gordon; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
John retired from Mikesell's and was a member of the Eagles Club. He was also an avid classic car enthusiast and loved the outdoors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
