John Wallace Terrence Glover Jr. "Butch"

John Wallace Terrence Glover Jr., "Butch", age 63 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 26, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Terrence and Ruth Glover.

Butch will be remembered for his willingness to give and help anyone in need. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor and storytelling. Butch was a smart and talented man who could accomplish anything once he set his mind to it; he would never give up. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, traveling, making creative projects and spending time with his dogs. Butch was a loving husband and friend to many who will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Butch is survived by his wife, Charity; mother, Ruth Glover; sons, Travis Glover, Branden Glover, Devon Glover and Jarrett Johnson; 1 brother, David Glover; 4 sisters, Gaila Esther, Vickie Wheatley, Tracie Dixon and Kellie Magby; 1 Aunt, Marilyn West; 1 uncle, Raymond (Roy) Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a time of sharing to begin at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
