John G. Betts

BETTS, John G., age 77 of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers; five sisters. He is survived by Loretta, his loving wife of 52 years; one daughter, Cheri Betts; one son, John (Pam) M. Betts; two grandchildren, John (Patty) M. Betts, Jr. and Rebecca Holly Betts; one great-granddaughter, Priscilla Betts; host of nieces and nephews. John served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for NCR for 22 years and Dueer Manufacturing for 18 years. He was a member of Community of Christ Church. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road) with Gary Waggoner officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to time of service. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
