FEHL Sr., John Ethan (Pop) (June 5, 1924 - July 30, 2012) age 88, of Xenia, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Dayton after a gradual decline in health over the past few years.
John was a graduate of Oakwood High School and retired from WPAFB after 48 years of service.
John was preceded in death by his parents David and Ellen Fehl; brother David Fehl; sister Mary Jane Fehl; and wife Elizabeth (Betty) Fehl after 57 years of marriage.
He is survived by daughter Jane and her husband Charles Buckshorn of Wilmington; son John Jr. and his wife Jo Fehl of Xenia; grandchildren Greg and Soon Bogan of Wilmington, Eric & Dana Bogan of Las Vegas, NV, Brendan Bogan of Las Vegas, NV, Jimmy and Amanda Konicki of Mason, Don and Tara Konicki of Cincinnati, Jennifer and Ron Morris of Cedarville, and Lori and Brad Albertini of Cincinnati; great- grandchildren Brent Bogan, Dawn Konicki, Dan and Ryun Konicki, Tyler Morris, and Elizabeth and Colton Albertini.
Pop was a hard worker whose greatest pride and accomplishment was his family. Other passions included: farming, gardening, and spoiling his pets. John attended church at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Xenia, Ohio. A special thanks to his caregivers Sharon, Aundria, Kathy, and Diane.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
A celebration of life will be held at the Fehl Farm Saturday August 11th from 5-8 pm in Xenia, OH
