John F. Atkins

Atkins, John F. Age 75 of Fairborn passed away August 6, 2009. John is preceded in death by Virginia "Ginny" Atkins and Grandson Angelo David Atkins. He is survived by Current Spouse Elizabeth Atkins; Sons, John R. and Karen Atkins, Michael D. and Christine Atkins, and Phillip M. and Kimberly Atkins; Step- Children, Tom and Kathy Taylor and Dale Taylor; Grandchildren, Bonnie, Sara, John, Christopher, Megan, Kaiti, Rachael, Tara, Cassie, Michael, Heather Taylor, and Michelle Black. John retired from Fairborn City Schools as a bus driver. He worked at Greene Parks and Rec and served in Germany in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. John loved all of his family very much. Family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Monday August 10, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel. Pastor Tim Walden of Victory Temple will be officiating. Interment at Byron Cemetery to follow service.
