John Henry Eversman, formerly of 1179 E. Springvalley-Paintersville Rd, Xenia Ohio passed away at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton on February 10, 2023, and went to join his wife Alberta.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta (Hart) Eversman, great granddaughter Cadence Jay Gardner, sister Lauretta Long, brother-in-law Thomas Long, mother Nancy Lucille (Denning) Eversman, and father Arnold Henry Everman.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jami (DeBord) Wallace and Jeff Wallace of Jamestown Ohio, Penny Hebrank of Spring Hill Tennessee, Tammy (Green) Montgomery and James Montgomery of Xenia Ohio. Known to them all as Papps, John is survived by nine grandchildren, Kevin and Angi DeBord of Summitville Indiana, Kendall DeBord of Jamestown Ohio, Gary DeBord of Jamestown Ohio, Rebecca (DeBord) Leaming of Jamestown Ohio, Dustin Wallace of St. Louis Missouri, Ashley Hebrank of Lexington Kentucky, Adam Hebrank of Spring Hill Tennessee, Jennifer (Green) Hamilton of Xenia Ohio, and Andrea (Montgomery, Gardner) and Justin Brown of Jamestown Ohio. Fifteen great grandchildren, Cassidy Stephens, Silas, and Levi DeBord of Summitville Indiana, Gavin and Zoe DeBord of Kettering Ohio, Lylah, Gray, and Nora DeBord of Jamestown Ohio, Colton and Reese Leaming of Jamestown Ohio, Madison Garrigus and Easton Hebrank of Spring Hill Tennessee, Cody, Alexa, and Carson Hamilton of Xenia Ohio.
John retired from Behm Glass and Company in Dayton Ohio. John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. John enjoyed living on his 10-acre farm, working with his many animals, planting and maintaining his many trees and flowers. John wore many hats in his life. He was a gardener, brick mason, cabinet builder, construction worker, repairman, electrician, and anything else that life on the farm demanded. He is very loved and missed.
