John "Bud" Lawhorn Jr., age 79, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Aileen Lawhorn; parents, 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and son-in-law, Ray Wilmoth.
Bud is survived by his children, Sharon Wilmoth, John Lawhorn III, Bobby (Diane) Lawhorn, Kate (Ron) Arahood, Robin (Ed) Colvell, Randy (Pearley) Lawhorn, and Tom (Helen) Lawhorn; mother of his children, Lauretta Lawhorn; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; special niece, Sandy DeBusk; special friend, David Dickerson; children of his wife, Janet (Gary) Oppie, Bobbie (Cindi) Golden, and Barb McBain; and many other relatives and friends.
Our Dad loved life and he will be missed.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
