John E. Marlay, age 91, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 14, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio and spent most of his life here. He was retired from the Anchor Rubber Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ethel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was an avid sports fan, and loved the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Private family services will be held for John. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Brookdale of Kettering.
