John E. Harbaugh, 87, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was born July 11, 1926 in Bethel Township, Miami Co, to the late Rollo and Fern (Andrews) Harbaugh.
John was a graduate of Bethel High School and a WWII Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sisters, Viola Trubee, Catherine Pyles and Mary Scharff.
He is survived by his Wife, of 65 years, Eileen (Sowers) Harbaugh; children, Dana (Tom) Chaney, Denton (Lois) Harbaugh, Vickie (Tommie) Allen; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Margret Woodhouse, Alta Lamb; numerous nephews, nieces and many good friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Northridge Wesleyan Church, 1842 Neff Rd, Dayton, OH 45414 with Pastor Eldon Trubee officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
