John Dearie, Iii

DEARIE, III, John, age 63, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on February 14, 2012 after a brief illness. John was born in Buffalo, NY on March 10, 1948; and is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, of 34 years; step-sons, Scott (Debbie) and Craig Gossett; grandson, Zachary Gossett, and nephews, Jason and Chris Ware, of TX. Preceded in death by grandmother, Maude and father, John Dearie, of Glasgow, Scotland. Employed at WPAFB by the Aerospace Systems Command, past Master of the Masonic Lodge at Aviano Air Base, Italy, a 24 year military veteran, and a Scotsman of the Douglas Clan. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roman-Hatheway Lodge No. 223 F. & A.M., 2010 Holly St., Rome, NY 13440.
