John B. Christian "Major"

John B. Christian "Major", age 75 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Kettering Health Dayton. He was born May 5, 1948 in Vernon, Alabama to the late John and Alley Christian. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jo Ann Christian, brother Anthony Wayne Christian.
John was a loyal employee and worked at BAE/ Armor Holdings for 15 years. He is survived by his seven children, Barbara Weber, Lamandy Hayden, Crystal Love, Willie Hayden, Robert Lacey, Johnathan Lacey and Vaschon Blair; 23 grandchildren; 5 siblings, Frank Christian, Tommy Christian, Kaye Christian-Price, Cassandra Cribbs, and Elizabeth Christian. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a long time love of his life Mary Cooper.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Dayton Fire and EMT, Dayton VA, Ohio's Hospice, and Fidelity for their care and compassion during this difficulty time.

John will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
