John Nicholas Cannarozzi, age 54, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on January 11, 2019.
John was born on December 13, 1964, in Kettering, OH, son of the late Louis J. and Shirley M. (Bourgeois) Cannarozzi. He was a 1983 graduate of Archbishop Alter High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Wright State University in 1990. John enjoyed a successful career working in computer technology; first for Frontier Engineering in Fairborn, followed by many years at the L.M. Berry Company in Kettering. He was a lifelong Dayton resident.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Cannarozzi, and is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Michael (Kaye) Cannarozzi, Lisa (Bill) Glaser, Julie (Mark) Patrie, Joe (Mary) Cannarozzi, Andrea (Joe) Varabkanich and his dear friend Amy Shrout and her family. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
John enjoyed a lifelong love of learning, music and all things technical, and could often be found riding his Harley on the weekends. His family and friends will dearly miss his humor, intelligence and mischievous smile. Special thanks go to John's devoted and supportive caregivers including Dr. Karl Rose, Dr. David Novick, and Fannie Williams. John was loved. He is at peace.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday January 26, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, OH 45429, and are invited to stay for a Memorial Mass beginning at 10:30 am. A private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
