John C. Lowery Jr.

John C. Lowery, Jr., age 76 of Riverside, passed away August 10, 2016. He was born April 19, 1940 in Verda, Harlan County, KY to the late John C. Lowery, Sr. and Christine Coffer Lowery. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lowery; brother, James H. Lowery; son-in-law, Guy A. Spaulding.

John is survived by his children: Stephanie Spaulding, John C. Lowery, III (Nancy) and Jim D. Lowery (Nicole); grandchildren: Rachel, Sarah, Eric, Courtney, Meghan, Brittney, Abigail and Jimmy; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gloria Lowery; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at New Life Fellowship Assembly of God, 999 Spinning Road, Dayton, OH. The family will break from 12-1 pm. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, with interment and military honors to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
