John Burda
BURDA, John, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2010 at The Hospice of Dayton.
He was born in Devicany, Czechoslovakia in 1928.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bacik of Rocky River, OH. John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Onda Faye Burda (Brock); daughters, Kathy (Mark) Cline of Scottsdale, AZ, Cindy (Paul) Hollis of Troy, OH; grandchildren, Luke and Clare Cline, Craig Hollis along with numerous other family and friends.
He served his country in both the Army and Air Force in the Korean War. John retired in 1983 from WPAFB as an Electronic Engineer after over 30 years of service.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7 at 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432). Family will receive friends on Monday, December 6 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
If lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton and/or Hawker United Church of Christ memorial fund in John's memory.
