John Bowser

October 24, 1930 — April 9, 2014

John Bowser (Jack) age 83 of Fairborn, OH passed away at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was born October 24, 1930 in Dayton, OH the son William and Leora Bowser. He retired from Mike Sells and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marilyn Willis, and a beloved son, Garry.

Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Berleen; a daughter, Cathy Moore (Dennis-his best friend); granddaughters, Jenna Greene (Zack) and Jessica Moore; and great grandchildren, Allysa, Trenton, and Madison. He is also survived by his nephews, Bill, Steve, and Kent Willis and his wonderful neighbors. The family would like to extend a special thanks for the support and kindness of Hospice of Dayton.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Faith Christian Fellowship (1778 Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio ). Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at Faith Christian Fellowship. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
