BADIA, John Baptist age 79 of Kettering, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his son John Joseph Badia, 2 grandchildren Kaylee June and Treva Jean, his parents Juan Bautista and Carolina Antonia Badia and his sister Olga Marie Pagano. He is survived by Norma, his loving wife of 35 years, his children Nancy Eva Elder of Indianapolis, IN, Steven Michael and wife Robin Badia of Huber Heights, John Frederick Sanders of Germany, Carol Ann and husband Randy Eaton of Las Vegas, NV, Victoria Lynn and husband Ron Key of Kettering, Lisa Badia and husband Jim Rhine of Kettering, Timothy James Badia of Dayton and his special friend Dawn Rene App of Mason; grandchildren Christopher, Angela and Ashley Sellers, Timothy, Patricia and Alexandra Sanders, Michael and Jenna Badia, Elyssa and Jayson Key, Alexander and Benjamin Rhine and Amanda Badia; sister Elsie Caamano and her son Victor and wife Linda Caamano of Potsdam, NY; great nephews Daniel and David Caamano; and a host of other relatives and friends. John served our country in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from Harris Graphics after 25 years of service and was a member of VFW Post 9927 Kettering. He was a volunteer at the Kettering Recreation Senior Citizens Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at The Church of the Holy Angels 218 K Street, Dayton, OH, with Fr. Dan Meyer celebrant. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In John's memory, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
