John Edward Baltes, age 61 of Kettering, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was born September 12, 1959 in Troy, Ohio the son of Donald Baltes and Barbara Bailey.
John was a member of AMVETS as an Officer of Entertainment after serving in the United States Navy. He was an avid gun collector and a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to make anyone laugh. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father and his daughter, Lydia Baltes.
John is survived by his wife of 33 years Lydia; son, John Baltes II; grandson, Graysun; his mother; sister, Ronda (Tom) Bennett and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
