AMMERALL, John E. "Jack", 85, of Beavercreek passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Theresa Ammerall; brother Edward Shoemaker, his wife Violet; and niece Diane Koehler. Jack is survived by his great nieces Lynn (Robert) Hammons and Terri (Tom) Lee; great-great nephews David (Heather) Lannigan and Bobby Hammons; great-great niece Michelle Hammons; many other family and friends.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Army with service in WWII. Jack was a avid golfer and enjoyed classic car shows.
Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday November 1, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd with services at 11:00AM. Burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to SICSA.
