John A. Overman

OVERMAN, John A. age 73 of Washington Twp., passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Megan. He is survived by Mary Overman, his loving wife of 26 years, his daughters Charlotte, Victoria and Emma; sons Jim, Jeff and John: grandchildren Zoe, Adam, Daniel, David, Ella, Leah, Ryan, Alison, Michael and Jack; great granddaughter Caitlin; sisters Amy Rose and Ruth; 1 brother and a host of other relatives and friends. John served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War. John retired as a Senior Design Engineer after many years of service in the Aerospace Industry. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Goldengate Lodge in Chagrin Falls, OH. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, November 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment at the Dayton National Cemetery.
