Joey Diane Lindsay, age 64 of Fairborn, OH passed away in her home on Friday, January 17, 2020. She was born October 9, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana to Williard and Wanda Lindsay.
Joey had a beautiful smile, loved to dance and had a fiery spirit. She was a strong, fearless and resilient woman who was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. Joey was a hard worker and worked for over 10 years at Chrysler/Behr as a production operator. She was a sweet hearted woman who did not know a stranger, was a great friend, "adopted" mother and grandmother to many and took pride in caring for others. Joey also took pride in being a good Mom to her children and loved them unconditionally.
Joey is survived by her two daughters, Michelle L. Pettit and Johnnie Renea Swinning; a son, Joshua A. Pettit; six grandchildren, Aaron, Ciera, Zach, Jordan, Taylor and Ashlynn; her lifelong best friend and "sister", Lora Morris; her fur child, Prince Miles; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Connie, Les and Jennifer; and a granddaughter, Breanna.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
