Joe Zimmer, age 62, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020.
Joe was born in Dayton, on November 17, 1957 to the late Elwood & Onie Zimmer.
He was preceded in death by his love, Cheri Zimmer; brother, Tim Zimmer; father and mother-in-law, Gary & Carole Bauer; brother-in-law, Don Doll and Mark Bauer; nephew, Brandon Doll; and best friend, Randy Conner.
Joe is survived by his children, Justin (Jackie) Zimmer, Josh (Jamie) Zimmer, Amber (Zach) Baker and Joey (Marah) Zimmer; grandchildren, Kathleen, Adam, Aleah, Ava, Isaac, Audrey, Archer, Lyndan and Evan; brothers, Mike (Mickey) Zimmer, Thom (Kathleen) Zimmer, Steve (Kathy) Zimmer, Donnie (Linda) Zimmer and Gary Zimmer; sisters-in-law, Chris Zimmer, Shirlee Bauer, Cinda Doll and Crisina Gibson; long time family friends, Mike & MaryAnne Stemley, Cheryl Harper, Eve & Bryan Conner and Bev Guest.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel,3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the funeral home at 10 am, with procession following to Woodland Cemetery where Joe will be laid to rest with Cheri.
