Joe "Pappy" Trosper, age 74, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Joe was born in Evarts, KY on February 10, 1947 to the late Clarence E. & Ethel W. Trosper.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his 2 sisters; grandparents; and father & mother-in-laws; brother-in-law; last but not least please hold our babies tight till we get there if granny will let you, grandsons, Dustin Lynn and J.J. Vaughan.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 30 plus years, Teresa Trosper; children, Joei Lynn (John) Brooks, Tracey (Doc) Tolson, Crystal (Jimmy) Wildman-Vaughan, TJ (Alexis) Cook, Keith Spencer and Andy Layman; lifelong brothers from another mother, "Nose" John and Edward Heindl; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Patty (Gary) Cokeley; 5 brother-in-laws including, William Beilharz III; 2 sister-in-laws; many adopted children and grandchildren; many nieces & nephews along with great nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcome to gather one hour prior to the service.
Joe will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
