Age 56, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Clarence J. Harris; and by one brother, Ray Harris.
Joe is survived by his wife of the past 38 years, Sandy K. (Hamby) Harris; his mother, Barbara Brush; two children, Benjamin and Sarah Harris; four sisters, Joanne McClure, Donna (Jack) McDuffie, Linda Simms and Judith Harris; best friend, Wayne Ledford; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Joe retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. He was a friend to everyone he met and was available to help whenever needed.
The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
