Joe E. Manning

Manning, Joe E., age 76, of Germantown, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

Joe retired from Miami Paper with over 47 years of service and was a long time member of the Franklin Eagles. He loved to fish, hunt and ride his tractor.

Joe is survived by his wife of 56 years: Bobbie; son: Donnie; grandchildren: Kendra (Brian) Stokes, Becca (Michael) Clouse, Taylor "BooBoo" Manning, Tabitha (Rodney) Marshall, Daniel Manning; great grandchildren: Kaia & Ava Brown, Caleb Manning; sister and brother-in-law: Nancy (Fred) Singleton; brother and sister-in-law: Boyd (Marie) Manning; daughter-in-law: Lisa Manning; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Danny and brothers: Bill & Ben.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Kettering Home Care Nurses who helped and took care of Joe.
