Joe J. DiSantis, age 74 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Grandview Hospital. He was born November 22, 1942 in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of the late Joe and Mary DiSantis Sr..
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Emily Icenhower; and great grandson, Blaze DiSantis.
Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon; sons, Joey (Mary) DiSantis, Kevin DiSantis (Stacey Arnold); grandchildren, Harley, Kristin, Jason, Jamie, Jasmine, Janae, Joey, Jaida, Joelton, Kali; great grandchildren, Axel, Anthony, Kamron, Gabby, Faith, J.D.; sister, Violet Thomas; furry friend, Snuggles; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Joe was in the United States Air Force as a bomber mechanic. He retired with 30 years from Flowserve/Duriron. Joe loved old cars and car shows. He was proud of his '39 Chevy coupe. He also belonged to Troy Fish and Game.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens with military honors.
