Joda G. Burgess, Jr.

BURGESS, JR., Joda G., age 67, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joda and Zola Burgess and sister, Roslea Click. Joda is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Virginia; children, Leisha Burgess-Evans, Pamela and Bryan Burgess; sisters, Pattie Brock, Joan Wehrley, Rita Sebring; brother, William Burgess; grandchildren, Bradley, Amber, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ashton, Mikhail, Adrianna, Laura-Ashleigh, and Paige. He was a skilled tool and die maker. Joda was also a travel enthusiast who loved motorcycle riding. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cold War. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Pastor Rich McKinley officiating.
