Jocelynn "JoJo" Bilby

December 16, 2013 — February 4, 2025

Brookville, Ohio

Jocelynn "JoJo" L. Bilby, a radiant light in the lives of her family and friends, gracefully left this world on February 4, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, at the tender age of eleven. Born on December 16, 2013, JoJo brought her vibrant spirit and spicy personality into every moment, showcasing a maturity beyond her years. Her journey, though heartbreakingly brief, was filled with remarkable energy, laughter, and love.

A dedicated student, JoJo was a part of both Northmont and Brookville Schools community. She embraced her education with a curious and eager heart, keen to explore the world around her. JoJo’s interests were as diverse as her personality; she found joy in soccer, camping adventures, and immersing herself in the imaginative worlds of anime. Every aspect of her life was marked by a zest for experiences that sparked her creativity and invited those around her to join in the fun.

JoJo will be deeply missed by her loving family, who stood by her with unwavering support. Her mother, Chrissy (Steve) Hufford, and father, Charles (Danielle) Bilby, cherished her every smile and radiant laugh. She shared a special bond with her sister, Lylah, whose camaraderie and love for each other blossomed through countless shared memories. JoJo was also blessed to have a strong network of grandparents, including Shannon (Eddie) Hufford, Michelle Craig, and Mary Kay Lefeld, whose guidance and affection nurtured her spirit. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by numerous other family members and friends who hold her memory dearly in their hearts.

While JoJo created incredible memories here on Earth, she now joins her beloved brother, Junior; grandfathers, Scott Craig and Danny Lefeld; along with her great grandpa, Richard Bilby; and great grandparents, Treva (Jack) Hufford. Their love will continue to envelop her in eternal peace.

Though our hearts ache with the loss of JoJo, we will carry forward her fiery passion for life, her joyous laughter, and her mature perspective on the world. As we say goodbye to this remarkable young girl, we remember the beautiful moments we were privileged to share, and we honor her ever-brightening spirit that will forever shimmer in our memories.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1-4pm at Trinity Church of Lewisburg, 511 N. Commerce St, Lewisburg, OH 45338. A memorial Service will be held at 4pm also there at the Church with Pastor Todd Dixon officiating.
