JoAnne Starks, age 82 of Huber Heights, reunited with her husband, Gary Starks on February 7, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1936 in Elkins, WV to the late Roxie and Clarence Workman.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Mary Starks and Meloney (Joe) Hillier; granddaughter, Melissa (Brandy) Crum; grandpuppies, Piper, Pippin and Presley; brother, William Isner of North Carolina.
JoAnne was a nursing professor for approximately 30 years at Sinclair Community College and she taught at LSU in Alexandria, LA.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, co-workers and former students.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
