Joanne L. Shoemaker
April 22, 1926 — September 28, 2015
Shoemaker, Joanne L., age 89, of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Kettering Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcia (Rick) Breitfield, Rebecca (Will) Sanford-Bowling, and Karen (Matthew) Cahillane-Kelly; her grandchildren, Laura Miller, Scott Breitfield, Angela Poling, Shauna and Ryan Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Blake and Dillon Breitfield, and Peyton and Parker Poling.
Joanne was a 1945 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School, and was retired from Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of Beta Omega Chapter S.P.G. sorority since 1947, Free Spirits, and the American Legion Aux 746.
Pastor Ken Rebok will officiate the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hair for Kids c/o The Dayton Foundation.
