Joanne K. Gonzalez

Joanne Katherine Gonzalez passed away on December 24, 2021, in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 72. She was born March 17, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky where she lived most of her life and belonged to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Joanne graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1966 and studied accounting at Katherine Spalding College (now Spalding University). She worked at Kentucky Lumber Company for many years, and later at Louisville Central Area downtown development corporation where she made many lifelong friends.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Duane A. Gonzalez (1972) and Katherine Weber Gonzalez (2011).

She is survived by her siblings Raymond Gonzalez (Liga), Regina Hensley (Bob), Alice Zoeller (David), and Margaret "Peggy" Gonzalez-Perez (Kent), and eight nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Funeral Mass for her will be held at noon on Friday, May 27th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (6105 S 3rd St, Louisville, KY 40214), followed by a Graveside Service at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road).
