Joann Driscoll

DRISCOLL, Joann age 73 of Dayton, formerly of Ironton, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Driscoll, her first husband Kenneth L. Love, her father Virgil Blankenship and her grandmother Elizabeth Payton. She is survived by her daughter Kathy McKee of Kettering; grandson Kristopher McKee; granddaughter Samantha McKee; mother Dora Blankenship; brother John R. and wife Nell Blankenship of Venice, FL as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends. Joann was secretary to a vice president at Top Value Enterprise for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Eastern Star Harvest Chapter #564 and Fairhaven Church. At 18, Joann was May Queen of Ironton, OH. For the past 13 years, Joann was the care giver to her mother Dora. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, daughter and a dear friend who gave her all to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 6:30 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of service. In memory of Joann, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
