Joan N. Whiting

Joan N. "Moe" Whiting, age 62 of Huber Heights, OH, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family in Dayton, OH. She was born July 15, 1959 in Dayton to the late Benjamin and Phyllis (Roach) Whiting.

Left to cherish Joan's memory are her daughter, Johanna (Joe) Hill; sister, Missy Whiting Demange; grandchildren: Alyssa, Chelsea, Sydney, Abby, Emma, and Josie; her childrens' father, Jerry Isbel; and several other relatives and friends.

Joan was an exceptionally kind, giving, and generous person. She was truly one of a kind; a real gem. She loved to cook and bake, and her skills were second to none. Joan enjoyed crafts, and doting on her grandchildren. Most of all, Joan enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Isbel; sisters: Angela Whiting, and Sandy Lewis.

A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday October 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm.
