Joan Mehl Macconnell

MacCONNELL, Joan Mehl, age 77, born August 5, 1932, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Dan and Eunice Mehl. She graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1950 and received her Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1954. On June 12, 1954, she married Harry MacConnell. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Harry and her parents. She is survived by her 4 children, Linda (Michael), Nancy (Gary), Karen (Victor), and Chip (Betsy); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Michael (Laura), Andrew, Jessye, Sarah, Amelia, Andy, Anna, and Danielle; brother, John Mehl (Peggy) of Greentree, PA, and several nieces and nephews around the country. She resided at Daysprings Health Care Center for the past 7 years. The family would like to thank the staff for all their compassionate care. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
