Kraft, Joan M. on January 15, 2017 her Lord Jesus Christ elected to take her to heaven. Born February 1, 1929 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of the late Owen and Grace (Dourm) Able Sr. Joan was a graduate of Timpken High School, and a home maker.
She was a long time member of Faircreek Church (Christian Tabernacle). Being handicapped (polo) most of her adult life and not being able to use her right arm she managed to raise 5 boys, learned to drive at 55 years of age, was the Riverside, Ohio Senior's Treasurer for several years; and also volunteer for the Chums organization where she helped disadvantage mentally and physically handicapped adults.
Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Fred A. Kraft, on November 7, 2011; her brother Owen W. "Bud" Abel Jr. 2016; sister, Carolyn G. Roshong 2015.
Survived by 5 sons, Darrell (Tammy), Jerry (Lois), Brad (Debbie), Matt (Bev) and Nate (Desi) and 5 grandsons. If desired, contributions may be made to the Dayton Gospel Mission in memory of Joan Kraft.
