Joan E. Danley, age 80 of Dayton, passed away April 19, 2018. She was born November 12, 1937 in Dayton to the late Richard and Evelyn Shea. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Danley; and infant daughter, Brenda Danley.
Joan is survived by her children: Robert, Julie, Richard and Mark (Lisa); grandchildren: Linda (Ben), Kelly, Kyle, Steven, Katy and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Abigail, Faith, Kelan, Gary and Asher; brothers and sisters: Jean, Dan (Mary), Sharon, Patricia (Jim) and Martha; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joan was a very talented professional floral designer. She was a military spouse who was well traveled. Joan was a great cook, loved to decorate and entertain, but most of all she was an incredible mom and grandma.
Visitation will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 12 pm.
