Joan Brown

Joan Brown, age 67 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016. She was born in Dayton in 1949 to the late James and Blanche McMillan. Joan was an avid crafter and enjoyed sewing and do-it-yourself projects in her free time.
She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband John William Brown and sister, Barbara Hutchinson.
Joan leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Jason Brown, Christopher Brown, and Rebecca Brown; grandchildren, Kayla, Skylar, Zoe, and Ryan; sisters, Pat (Konnie) Lowrie, Carol (Billy) Spencer; brother, James (Sue) McMillan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Byron Cemetery at 11am.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Friends Care Center for their compassion and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends Care Center Activity Department
