Joan Ann Wolfe

Wolfe, Joan Ann (Githens), age 91, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014. Joan was a 1940 graduate of Springboro High School and retired from Kroger with over 12 years of service. She was a member of the Cincinnati Weavers Guild and enjoyed traveling, camping and playing bridge and euchre.

Joan is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: John (Jean) Wolfe; grandchildren: Rebecca Probasco & Elizabeth Wolfe-Eberly; great grandchildren: Payton & Jack Probasco and Cate & Ben Eberly; siblings: John (Juanita) Githens, Dorothy Trost, Martha Morgan, Linda (John) Wassleff, Richard (Liz) Githens; sisters-in-law: Aileen, Phyllis & Lois Githens; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: LeRoy Wolfe; daughters: Susan Fuller & Barbara Jean Wolfe; brothers: Paul, Charles, Larry & Carl Githens; sister: Ruth Griener; son-in-law: Tom Fuller; and dear friend: Jim Davis.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton, Lincoln Park Manor and Oak Creek Terrance for all of their care and support.
