Jo Dean"Granny" Pryor

Jo Dean Pryor, age 82 of Kettering, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1932 in Eagen, Tennessee the daughter of Lee and Mary Evans.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel Pryor; and many brothers and sisters.
Granny is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Linda) Pryor and Henry (Diana) Pryor; a brother, Denzile Evans; five grandchildren, David (Robyn) Pryor, Christopher (Angie) Pryor, Brandon (Sara) Pryor, Henry (Gina) Pryor II, and Cynthia Pryor; nine great grandchildren, David, Ashley, Cody, Dylan, Alex, Hannah, Sammy, Emily, and Abby; and a great great grandchild, Anniston. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
