Jo Ann Tharp

Jo Ann Tharp, age 77 of Dayton, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 9, 1940 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of Earnest and Frances Dodd.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry K. Tharp, Sr. and step-son, KevinTharp.
She loved to sing in the choir at Crossview Church, member of Order of the Eastern Star and retired as a secretary from DESC in 1993.
Jo Ann is survived by her son, Bret A. (Gail) Roberts; daughter, Brenda K. Roberts; step-son, Larry K (Krista) Tharp Jr.; grandchildren, Sarah Drescher, Tyler Roberts, Ashley and Justin. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on April 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
