Jo Ann Dennis

Jo Ann Dennis, age 77 of Riverside, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2018. Jo Ann was born in Campton, KY to the late Edgar and Jessie Ritchie. She married the love of her life, Garland Dennis in 1955. The two shared a happy and wonderful life together. Jo Ann took great pride in her family.

She enjoyed spending time at the lake and completing word searches in her free time. Jo Ann was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Dennis in 2004; granddaughter, Ashley Dennis; and great-grandson, Cody Dennis.

Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memory, children, Edgar (Cindy) Dennis, Nellie (Russ) Hogle, Charles Dennis, Mike Dennis, and Jessie Sorrell; grandchildren, Amber Dennis, Edgar Dennis, Michael (LeRouise) Dennis, Emeleen Jergens, Timmy (Shawna) Hogle, Danielle (Pierre) Hogle, Christina, Tricia, Christopher (Lola) Dennis, Phillip (Morgan) Wells, Brian (Ashley) Wells, and Daltynn Dennis; 21 great-grandchildren; dear uncles, Tommy (Julie) Baker and Pop (Faye) Baker; special friends Marion Dennis; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A private family service was held.
